Ankit moved to New York City in September 2021.

On his first weekend, his brother and cousins came over. There was wine. Conversation. The kind of afternoon that keeps unfolding.

A few hours in, he opened Uber Eats and searched for a charcuterie board.

This was New York City. Anything, anytime.

Nothing.

Plenty of meals. Plenty of late-night food. Nothing built for the middle of the table.

That gap felt bigger than it should have.

Cheese and charcuterie boards carry a different kind of energy. They get passed. They invite people in. They give a room a center.

If food like that belongs at the center of the table, it belongs within reach.

Soon after, Ankit met Nelson, a seasoned New York chef with years in hospitality and events. Nelson saw it instantly. A great board is more than ingredients. It is balance. Texture. Timing. Presentation. It sets the tone before anyone says a word.

Together, they built what Ankit wished he could have ordered that weekend. HappyBoards was born.

Since then, boards have traveled across apartments, offices, rooftops, and celebrations, finding their place at the center of tables across the city.

And now, across the country.
